We've changed our name and grown our team!

Washington, DC – Following the nomination of Kressin Meador Powers partner Mark Meador to become the next FTC Commissioner, we are pleased to announce a few exciting changes. First, we will now operate under the name Kressin Powers LLC. Second, we are proud to announce the addition of three new members to our team.

Our first addition is our newest partner, veteran trial lawyer and antitrust litigator Aaron Teitelbaum. Until March of this year, Aaron served as a Senior Litigation Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division. During his time there, Aaron co-led two of the most significant antitrust trials of recent years, the Department's challenge of JetBlue Airways' acquisition of Spirit Airlines, and the Department's action against Google alleging unlawful monopolization of certain digital advertising technology markets. Aaron brings a wealth of litigation, trial, and law enforcement experience to the firm from his time at the Antitrust Division as well as his service as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Colorado, and an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

Aaron has tried approximately 15 cases to verdict in federal and state courts across the country, ranging from complex antitrust matters, to white collar crime, to attempted murder and home invasion robbery. He has led a wide variety of complex criminal investigations–including multiple federal wiretap investigations–into money laundering, wire fraud, public corruption, cybercrime, theft of trade secrets, and narcotics trafficking.

"Aaron is one of the most accomplished trial lawyers working in antitrust enforcement today," said partner and former DOJ acting Assistant Attorney General Richard Powers. "His ability to lead complex litigation and deliver results for clients at the highest levels makes him a perfect fit for our team."

The firm is also pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Ryan as Counsel and Perry Apelbaum as Of Counsel.

Rebecca Ryan joins the firm with valuable antitrust experience in the government and the private sector. At the Department of Justice, she served in key positions in the Antitrust Division, including Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General and Counsel to the Directors of Criminal Enforcement and Criminal Litigation. Following her government service, she served as in-house counsel at a respected Fortune 500 company in the financial sector, where she was responsible for overseeing internal investigations and assisting in the management of the company's ethics program.

Perry most recently served as Senior Counsel in the Antitrust Division and Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Department's Office of Legislative Affairs, where he focused on pro-competition legislative initiatives, including the Department's successful efforts to pass the Merger Filing Fees Modernization Act. An adjunct professor at the University of Michigan Law School, Perry is also a 30-year veteran of Capitol Hill, working on a range of issues with the House Judiciary Committee, including the Antitrust Subcommittee. "Perry's unmatched experience at the Department and on the Judiciary Committee will help our clients understand and navigate actions in the antitrust enforcement agencies and Congress," said partner Brandon Kressin.
